Common Threads was started by Ruth Gess in 1996 and purchased by Julie and Randy Satterlie in 2005. In November 2007, we moved the shop to it's new location in Garfield, just a short 6 mile drive northwest of Alexandria. Our northwoods style building is a great place to showcase our large seleciton of fabrics, patterns, and notions.
Our expert staff is ready to assist our with all of your quilting needs from selecting fabrics or patterns to machine quilting.
